Thank you very much for your support! ~ Rockin Robin+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++These peanut butter cups are way better than Reese's Peanut butter cups because you control better ingredients. Try it out.Caramel Peanut Butter CupsIngredients:1 cup peanut butter to 1 cup powdered sugar tsp. Vanilla extract3 Tbsp. butter, softened2 cups chocolate chips, I used Guittard (the best!)Caramel Sauce, see link aboveDirections:Mix the peanut butter, butter, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Once everything is well mixed, add the powdered sugar a little at a time using a hand mixer.Once it is blended, place the peanut butter into the refrigerator.Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Make sure the water in the pot doesnt touch the bottom of the pan holding the chips.Once the chocolate is fully melted take it off the heat. Spread the chocolate with a spatula into the heart mold or use a spoon to add chocolate to the silicone cups. Spread the chocolate up the sides of whatever mold you are using. Place molds into the refrigerator until they are completely firm. For the heart molds, cut parchment paper about 2 inches larger than the inner flat plate of the mold. Fold the parchment paper around the flat plate and place it back into the mold ring.Trace the heart shape onto a piece of parchment paper using a sharpie. Use this as a template to make 2 more peanut butter hearts.Place all the peanut butter hearts on a plate and place in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. When everything is nice and cold, take out the peanut butter molds and carefully peel them off of the parchment paper and place them in the chocolate molds. Make sure that the height of the peanut butter does not exceed the height of the top edge of the chocolate mold.Add a layer of caramel sauce on top of the peanut butter and then spoon chocolate sauce overall. Tap the heart shape mold on the counter several times to level off the chocolate.Store the heart in the refrigerator or freezer until you are ready to serve it.For the rest of the mini silicone cups, form small peanut butter balls using your fingers and place it into the chocolate covered silicone molds. Add some caramel sauce on top and finish off with some chocolate. Tap the mold on the counter several times to level off the chocolate and place in the refrigerator. These make the perfect Valentines Day gift or a great dessert anytime.
