A perfect snack for a monsoon evening.PEANUT PAKORAIngredients¾ cup roasted peanuts1 cup gram flour (besan) 1 teaspoon garam masala powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder½ teaspoon red chilli powderSalt to taste¼ teaspoon baking soda1 tablespoon rice flour½ cup shredded spinach Oil for deep-frying Method1. Coarsely crush peanuts. 2. Mix together gram flour, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, baking soda, rice flour, spinach and coarsely crushed peanuts with water as required to a batter of dropping consistency. 3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop in portions of batter and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. 4. Serve hot with sweet chutney and green chutney.
