A perfect dawat recipe, make Podina Raan and enjoy your Eid with friends and Family. #HappyCookingToYouWritten recipe: http://bit.ly/2w88DzFVisit Our Website: https://www.foodfusion.com Download iOS & Android app: https://www.foodfusion.com/app Facebook: https://facebook.com/foodfusionpk Instagram: https://instagram.com/foodfusionpk Twitter: https://twitter.com/foodfusionpk Also Follow @Healthy Fusion & @Food Fusion Kids for healthy food & kids special recipes.Podina Raan (Mutton leg)Recipe in English:Ingredients:-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup-Podina (Mint leaves) ½ Cup-Anardana (Dried pomegranate seeds) crushed ¼ Cup-Hari mirch (Green chilies) 2-3-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tbs-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp-Namak (Salt) ½ tbs or to taste-Lemon juice 2 tbs-Mutton leg 1.25 kg approx. -Meat tenderizer 2 tsp-Cooking oil ¼ Cup -Pani (Water) 1 & ½ litres or as required -Makhan (Butter) melted 2 tbs-Lemon juice 2 tbs-Shahad (Honey) 2 tbs-Podina (Mint leaves) chopped ¼ Cup Directions:-In grinder,add yogurt,mint leaves,dried pomegranate seeds,green chilies,ginger garlic paste,black pepper crushed,salt,lemon juice,grind well & set aside.-Add marks/cuts on mutton leg & set aside.-In bowl,add mutton leg and meat tenderizer,rub properly and marinate for 1 hour.-Now add prepared yogurt marination,mix well and let it marinate for 4 hours to overnight in refrigerator.-In pot,add cooking oil,marinated mutton leg with remaining marinade and cook for 5 minutes.-Add water and bring it to boil,cover and cook on medium low flame for 1 hour or until meat is tender (basting with cooked marinade & take out in a bowl for use at a time of serving). -In small bowl,add melted butter,lemon juice,honey,mint leaves and mix well.-On baking tray,place cooked mutton leg and with the help of the brush,apply prepared mint mixture.-Grill mutton leg in preheated oven at 200 C for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown color appears.Recipe in Urdu:Ajza:-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup-Podina (Mint leaves) ½ Cup-Anardana (Dried pomegranate seeds) crushed ¼ Cup-Hari mirch (Green chilies) 2-3-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tbs-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp-Namak (Salt) ½ tbs or to taste-Lemon juice 2 tbs-Mutton leg 1.25 kg approx. -Meat tenderizer 2 tsp-Cooking oil ¼ Cup -Pani (Water) 1 & ½ litres or as required -Makhan (Butter) melted 2 tbs-Lemon juice 2 tbs-Shahad (Honey) 2 tbs-Podina (Mint leaves) chopped ¼ Cup Directions:-Grinder mein dahi,podina,anardana,hari mirch,adrak lehsan paste,kali mirch crushed,namak aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan grind ker lein & side per rakh dein.-Mutton leg per marks/cuts laga lein & side per rakh dein.-Bowl mein mutton leg rakh dein aur meat tenderizer dal ker ache tarhan rub ker lein aur 1 hour kliya marinate ker lein.- Ab tayyar dahi ki marination ko dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 4 hours or overnight kliya refrigerator mein marinate ker lein.-Pot mein cooking oil,marinated mutton leg aur bache hoye marinade dal dein aur 5 minutes kliya paka lein.-Pani shamil karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur halki darmiyani ancch per 1 hour ya gosht gul janay tak paka lein (basting with cooked marinade & take out in a bowl for use at a time of serving).-Chotay bowl mein melted makhan,lemon juice,shahad aur podina dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.-Baking tray per cooked mutton leg rakh dein aur brush ki madad sa tayyar podina wala mixture laga lein.-Mutton leg ko preheated oven mein 200 C per 10-12 minutes ya golden brown color anay tak grill ker lein.
