Porchetta War: Gianni vs. Italy - Gianni's North Beach | Gianni North Beach

I shot a porchetta episode a while ago. It's a favorite among my friends and family, so I had to share my recipe. And the episode got lots of views and tons of positive comments. Then, things suddenly turned nasty. The Italians got involved.

They started to flame me. One guy said I didn't know what I was doing. Another said I was like a counterfeiter handing out phony money with this recipe. Someone else just said "YOU FAIL!". Of course, you realize what this meant. This meant war. A porchetta war.

So I decided to go them one better and do a literal farm to table porchetta by picking out a pig and following it from, uh, farm to table. I'd see how the pig was raised, help in the butchery and cook the whole thing over a spit. And, of course, we'd film the whole thing.

So who will win the war? Will it be me or the Italians?
