Potato Wedges
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Aloo (Potatoes) washed 4-5 large
-Boiling water as required
-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs
-Maida (All-purpose flour) ½ Cup
-Paprika powder 1 tsp
-Chicken powder ½ tsp
-Dried parsley 1 tsp
-Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Pani (Water) ¼ Cup or as required
-Cooking oil for frying

Directions:
-Cut the potato in equal size wedges.
-In boiling water,add potato wedges,salt and mix,boil for 4 minutes then strain and pat dry properly with kitchen tissue paper.
-In bowl,add all-purpose flour,paprika powder,chicken powder,dried parsley,garlic powder,salt and mix well.
-Gradually add water and whisk well to make a smooth batter.
-Now dip potato wedges in prepared batter,coat well & remove excess and freeze for 2 hours in freezer.
Option 1: Deep Fry
-In wok,heat cooking oil and fry until golden brown.
Option 2: Bake
-Grease baking tray with oil,place potato wedges and grease with oil.
-Bake in preheated oven at 190 C for 25 minutes.
-Cover with cling film and can be store in freeze for up to 1 month.

Recipe in Urdu:

Ajza:
-Aloo (Potatoes) washed 4-5 large
-Boiling water as required
-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs
-Maida (All-purpose flour) ½ Cup
-Paprika powder 1 tsp
-Chicken powder ½ tsp
-Dried parsley 1 tsp
-Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Pani (Water) ¼ Cup or as required
-Cooking oil for frying

Directions:
-Aloo ko ek jaisay size ka wedges mein cut ker lein.
-Boiling pani mein aloo ka wedges aur namak dal ker mix karein aur 4 minutes kliya boil ker lein phir strain ker ka kitchen tissue paper sa properly pat dry ker lein.
-Bowl mein maida,paprika powder,chicken powder,dried parsley,lehsan powder aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Thora thora ker ka pani shamil kertay jayein aur ache tarhan whisk ker ka smooth batter tayyar ker lein.
-Ab potato wedges ko tayyar batter mein dip karein aur ache tarhan coat ker ka excess ko nikal lein aur 2 hours kliya freezer mein freeze ker lein.
Option 1: Deep Fry
-Karhai mein cooking oil garam karein aur golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein.
Option 2: Bake
-Baking tray ko oil sa grease karein aur potato wedges rakh ker oil sa grease ker lein.
-Preheated oven mein 190 C per 25 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
-Cling film sa cover karein aur 1 month tak freeze mein store ker saktay han.
