A promise to her father, she struggles to uphold alone the family hawker legacy Seng Huat Rojak

Seng Huat Rojak was established in 1970s by Ms Jeanette Koh's father as a street peddler selling You Tiao (fritters) at Circuit Road. Jeanette used to run the stall with her sister after taking over the business from their parents. But the passing of her sister a couple of years ago left her manning the stall alone. Having promised her father that she will continue his legacy, Janette continues carrying the torch of the business.

While tough, Jeanette does everything single-handedly - from making dough to frying fritters. As she makes her own You Tiao which is an essential ingredient for rojak, her rojak is crunchy with the You Tiao fresh from the stove. She also offers Goreng Pisang and sweet potato fritters.
