You can make this Restuarant Style Mutton Curry easily at home with this super simple recipe.RESTAURANT STYLE MUTTON CURRYIngredients4 tbsps ghee4-5 green cardamoms5-6 black peppercorns5-6 cloves1 star anise1 bay leaf1 inch cinnamon stick3 large onions, finely chopped1½ tbsps ginger-garlic paste 2 large tomatoes750 grams mutton on the bone, cut into 1 inch pieces½ cup tomato puree3 tbsps yogurt 2 tsps red chilli powder½ tsp turmeric powder2 tsps coriander powder1½ tbsps Tata Sampann Meat Masala2 tbsps whole wheat flourGinger strips for garnishSprig of coriander for garnishMethod1. Heat ghee in a pan; add green cardamoms, black peppercorns, cloves, star anise, bay leaf and cinnamon stick. Sauté till fragrant.2. Add onion and sauté well. Cook till golden brown in colour, sautéing occasionally.3. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Cook till the raw flavour goes away. Add tomatoes and mix well.4. Add mutton and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add salt, mix and cook for 8-10 minutes, sautéing occasionally. 5. Add tomato puree and yogurt; reduce the heat and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and Tata Sampann Meat Masala. Mix well.6. Adjust salt and add 4 cups water. Mix well. Cover and cook for 40-45 minutes on low heat. 7. Take whole wheat flour in a bowl, add 4 tbsps water and mix well. Add this into the mutton curry. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.8. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with ginger strips and sprig of coriander.
