You can serve it with coconut chutney or a cup of filter coffee!RICE MEDU VADAIngredients1 cup rice flour1½ cups buttermilk¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)Crushed black peppercorns to taste2 green chillies, chopped1 inch ginger, chopped 7-8 curry leaves, brokenSalt to taste2 tbsps chopped fresh coconut2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leavesOil for greasing+ for deep fryingCoconut chutney for servingMethod1. Heat a pan. Add buttermilk, asafoetida, crushed black peppercorns, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and mix well.2. Once the mixture comes to a boil, add salt, rice flour and cook till the mixture is thick.3. Transfer in a bowl and allow to cool.4. Add coconut, coriander and mix well.5. Grease your palms with oil, divide the mixture into equal portions and roll into balls. Flatten and make a hole in the centre. 6. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Slide the prepared vadas in oil and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. 7.
