Ingredients :
For the cake -
¼ Cup Sugar
½ Cup Curd
¼ Cup Kriti Refined Oil
1 Tbsp Rose Syrup
¼ Cup Milk
A few drops Pink Colour
1 Cup Maida
1 Tsp Baking Powder
½ Tsp Baking Soda

For the Rose milk -
½ Cup Milk
½ Cup Cream
½ Cup Condensed Milk
2 Tbsp Rose Syrup

For decoration -
100ml Whipping Cream
2 Tbsp Chopped Pistachios
A handful of Chopped Rose Petals

Method:
Preheat an oven at 160 degrees Celsius.

Grease and line a 7 inch round cake mould.

Whisk together sugar, curd, Kriti Refined Oil and rose syrup until smooth.

Add pink colour and mix well.

Add maida, baking powder and baking soda to the mixture and whisk well.

Add milk and mix well and pour this mixture in the cake mould and bake for 35 minutes or until a skewer when inserted comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the mould.

For the rose milk, mix together the milk, cream and condensed milk along with the rose syrup.

Once the cake is cool, prick the surface of the cake with a fork and pour some rose milk over the cake and let it soak for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator.

To assemble, remove the cake from the mould, keep it on a plate.

Whip the cream until soft peaks are formed.

Decorate the cake with the whipped cream, garnish with pistachios and rose petals.

Pour the chilled rose milk around the cake and serve.
