Shahi Tukda | शाही टुकड़ा बनाने की रेसिपी | How to make Shahi Tukda with Kriti Refined Oil

Ingredients:
8 nos Sliced Bread
2 Cups Kriti Refined Oil, for frying.
½ Cup Sugar
¼ Cup Water
¼ Tsp Elaichi powder

For Rabdi -
500ml Milk
¼ Cup Condensed Milk
2 Tbsp Milk Powder
A pinch of Saffron
A pinch of Elaichi Powder
2 Tbsp Sliced Pista
2 Tbsp Sliced Almonds

Method:
For the rabdi,

Bring the milk to a boil, add condensed milk and milk powder and mix well.

Heat the milk on a low flame stirring continuously.

Add saffron and elaichi powder to the milk.

Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes stirring continuously until the milk becomes thick.

Add rose water and let it cool.

Once cool, keep in the refrigerator for chilling.

Meanwhile, cut the sides of the bread slices and cut into triangles.

Heat Kriti Refined Oil in a kadai, and fry the bread until crisp and golden brown.

Mix the sugar, water and elaichi powder in a pan and bring to a boil.

Simmer for 5 minutes until one string consistency is reached.

Dip the fried bread in this sugar syrup, remove and keep aside.

For serving, spread the chilled rabdi over fried bread garnished with sliced almonds and pistachios.
