The simplest recipe for the preparation of Sheer Khurma ready to use mix that can be stored for upto a year or more . Making Sheer Khurma is easy however preparing the dry fruit mixture is the hardest part but as they say there is no shortcut to success, same way there is no shortcut to prep the Sheer Khurma mix. In this video we have laid out the step by step process to prepare the homemade Sheer Khurma Mix.

The written recipe is also detailed below.
Ingredients:

Almonds - 100 gm
Cashews - 100 gm
Pistachio - 100 gm
Dried Dates- 100 gm
Chironji (Cuddapah almond) -100 gm
Vermicilli - 2 Cups
Ghee - 3-4 tbsp

Method:

Prep

1. Soak all dry fruits in hot water for 1 to 2 hours
2. Peel off the skin of Almonds/Badam, Pistachio and Chironji
3. Split the dry fruits in half and cut into slices
4, Sun dry for 1 day or until dried. You can also microwave the dry fruits for 3 mins each
5. Roast all dry fruits in the ghee until light/golden brown (Depending how you like it)
6. Store in an air-tight container to retain the freshness.
7. Store the container in refrigerator. The mixture can be used for about a year or more.
