Spicy coriander chutney/ South Indian coriander chutney | Gayathiri's Cookbook

This is a very delicious and easy chutney which goes well with any South Indian tiffin varieties.

Ingredients:
Cilantro- 2 bunches
Uraddal- 2 tablespoon
Red chillies- 5
Oil- 2 teaspoon
Tomatoes-3
Salt-3/4 teaspoon
Hing/Asafoetida- A pinch
Tamarind- a small piece

Directions:
1. Roast Uraddal and red chillies in oil till dal turns golden brown
2. Add and saute tomatoes till soft
3. Add and sauté coriander leaves for 3-4 minutes
4. Add salt,hing and tamarind. Saute for another minute.Switch off the flame.
5. Grind all the ingredients into a coarse paste


Spicy coriander chutney is ready!!!
