Hara Bhara Kababs are one of the most popular vegetarian Indian starter, this one has a crunchy, cheesy surprise in between. STUFFED HARA BHARA KABABIngredients½ cup grated cottage cheese (paneer)1 tablespoon crushed cashew nuts½ tablespoon raisins1 cup green peas, boiled and crushed 3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves1-2 green chillies, finely chopped1 medium raw banana, boiled, peeled and mashed ½ teaspoon cumin powder½ teaspoon garam masala powderSalt to taste2 tablespoons cornflour + for dusting Oil for deep-frying and greasing Processed cheese slices as required Method1. Mix together green peas, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, raw banana, cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt in a bowl. Add cornflour and mix well. 2. To make stuffing, mix together cottage cheese, cashew nuts, raisins and salt in another bowl.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 4. Grease your palms with some oil, divide the green peas mixture into equal portions, stuff with a portion of cottage cheese mixture and shape into kababs.5. Dust the kababs with cornflour and deep-fry in hot oil till lightly browned and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 6. Cut the cheese slices into small triangles, garnish the kababs with them and serve immediately.
