Super crispy dumplings made simple for anyone

If you are intimidated by making dumplings, here's the simplest way to make at home. I call them semi open dumplings. The secret to make them super crispy is to use the mix of corn starch and water. The stuffing (filing) is so flavorful with eggs and chives. Here's the noodle recipe I made with eggs and chives, which is delicious too:

Written recipe for pan fried dumplings:

Ingredients:
1 pack of dumpling wrappers
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 lb chives, finely chopped
salt
white pepper powder
sesame oil
oyster sauce
starch
oil

Prepare the stuffing (filling):
1. Season the eggs with salt, white pepper powder, and whisk.
2. Heat up the pan to medium heat, and cook the eggs while breaking them to small pieces. Set aside.
3. Season the chives with salt, white pepper powder and sesame oil in a bowl.
4. Add the eggs in the bowl and mix well. Add some oyster sauce and oil.
5. Let the filling cool off before wrapping the dumplings.

Pan fry dumplings:
1. Heat up the pan to medium, add oil. Place the dumplings in the pan and make sure all is coated with oil.
2. When the bottom of the dumplings turn light brown, add the mix of 1 tablespoon starch and 1/2 cup water.
3. Cove the the pan and let it cook till the liquid evaporates. After a few minutes, open the lid. Serve!
