Sweet Potato Chaat Recipe | Healthy Tasty Snacks | Eat East Indian

How to make Sweet Potato Chaat is not a question that crosses our mind but we do think about how to have a sense of balance in our lives or to eat healthy and still satisfy our taste buds. This recipe is designed to do just that. Its not only flavourful but also easy to put together if we have all ingredients on hand and if not, we can substitute and make accommodations.

Ingredients/ Recipe

1-2 sweet potatoes - I used two
1 cup boiled chickpeas for protein
Chaat masala per taste 1-2 tsp
1/2 tsp Himalayan Rock salt ( or Black salt)
Chopped up - Onions, tomatoes, red and Green chillies ( if you want heat)
1 -2 tbsp seviyan
2 tbsp Cilantro Mint Chutney

2 tbsp Tamarind chutney or use lemon juice


1. Boil, peel and chop Sweet potatoes
2. Optional to roast them otherwise this step can be skipped
3. Combine the toppings
4. Add on top of sweet potatoes and serve
