Tarri Poha | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Poha is good but Tarri Poha is excellent. It is a popular breakfast snack served as street food in Nagpur. This Poha is served along with piping hot gravy called Tarri and garnished with chopped Onions, Coriander leaves and Sev. In this video, I have shown how you can make this yummy street food at home very easily and serve it to your loved ones. Given below are the ingredients of this Tarri Poha recipe.

Ingredients:
(In the order of instructions)
For the Tarri:
1 cup Black Chana
2 Onions
6-8 Garlic cloves
4 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin
2 Bay leaves
2 Cardamoms
2 Cloves
Few Curry leaves
1/4 tsp Hing
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Goda masala
Salt to taste
2 cups Water
2 Tomatoes

For the Poha:
2 cups thick Poha
3 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Hing
5 tbsp Peanuts
Few Curry leaves
2 chopped Green Chillies
2 chopped Onions
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 large Potato cut into cubes
A handful of Coriander leaves
Juice of 1 Lemon
Serve with chopped Coriander leaves, Onions, Sev & Lemon
