Avocado or olive oilDirections:Place the ground turkey, onion, apple, parsley, basil, vinegar, egg, salt and garlic powder in a large bowl and mix to combine well. Then add the cheese cubes and mix again.Preheat a large fry pan over medium heat and add the oil. Shape your turkey into patties about inch thick. When the oil is hot, add the patties to the pan. Sprinkle with a little bit more salt. You can also bbq these burgers too if you wish. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn the burgers over when they are golden brown. Cover the second side for about 1 to 2 minutes and then remove the lid.You will notice the pan has excess liquid in it. Cook until the liquid evaporates and the burgers are 165 degrees F. when checked with an instant read thermometer.Serve like traditional burgers or serve with a lettuce wrap for a low carb meal. I like to place my pattie cut up in my salad. You will find these burgers to be flavorful and juicy. Enjoy! Thanks for watching and sharing!Rockin RobinP.S.
