Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 cups Straus Organic whipping cream (the BEST)
to 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
20 Newmans Own O chocolate cream cookies ( I removed the cream from about 6 of them)

Directions:
Place the sweetened condensed milk in a large mixing bowl along with the vanilla and salt. Whisk to combine then set aside.

Freeze a large mixing bowl and beaters from a hand mixer of the wire attachment from the kitchenaid for at least 20 minutes. Then when you are ready to whip the cream pull it out and add the chilled whipping cream to the bowl. Whip until you get stiff peaks.

Then fold in a couple of large dollops of whipping cream into the bowl of sweetened condensed milk using a whisk. Do this gently so as to not deflate the whipping cream. Once you get that mixed in, add the rest of the whipping cream and fold that in gently as well.

Place the cookies with some of the cream removed into a ziploc bag and pound with a rolling pin until you have small cookie pieces. Pour this into the whipped mixture and fold gently until combined.

Pour the mixture into a container with a tight fitting lid. Smooth out the ice cream in the container and place a piece of plastic wrap over the top of the ice cream. Make sure the plastic is touching the ice cream. Put the lid on and place this into the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight.

To serve, let the ice cream sit out for 5 minutes before scooping. Enjoy!
What's great about this recipe is that it is no churn. You don't need an ice cream machine!
