This Chocolate Sauce (or Dip) Has A Secret Ingredient

Ingredients
1 large ripe avocado
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Pinch of sea salt
2 tbsp maple, date or rice syrup (or 2 pitted medjool dates)
6 tbsp unsweetened soya milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate shavings or chocolate chips (to garnish)

This chocolate dip recipe is easy to make, healthy and good for you. The base ingredient is a surprising one: avocado! Avocado works great to provide that delicious creaminess, without the need for dairy (milk, cream etc). A homemade vegan chocolate dip that is dairy-free, gluten-free and free from highly processed white sugar - what's not to love? Create that chocolate fondue experience by serving the dip alongside fresh fruit, pretzels, crackers, marshmallows and anything else you think should be dipped in chocolate.
