Located at the junction of Eng Hoon Street and Tiong Poh Road, Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu () has established its household brand since 1989. Besides the Hakka-style Yong Tau Foo, Teochew Bak Chor Mee and Hainanese Kaya Toast are also served at the chic eatery. The Yong Tau Foo is handmade freshly daily. The menu is straightforward. There are only 4 items - Tau Kee, Tau Kwa Tofu and fishball, and only Bee Hoon is served. Customers can choose to have it in dry, soup or Laksa version. Pin Sheng Teochew Bak Chor Mee () offers minced pork noodles served dry or soup. The toppings comprise meatballs, fish dumpling, fish cake, pork slices, minced pork and braised mushroom. The noodles are cooked to al dente with chewy texture. A tasty bowl to savour, be it breakfast or lunch. Kaya toast that sandwiches a slab of butter and a cup of coffee make a delightful breakfast meal.
