This Tomato Sweet Pachadi/Thakkali Inippu Pachadi is prepared with riped tomatoes, green chillies and jaggery. You can have this with plain rice or have it as a side dish for kootu varieties.

Ingredients:
Tomatoes- 3
Jaggery- As needed
Salt- A pinch
Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp
Green chillies- 3
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Oil- 2 tsp

Directions:
1. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add 1/4 tsp mustard seeds.When it starts to splutter, add green chillies and sauté for a minute.
2.Then add cut tomatoes and cook with turmeric powder and salt until the tomatoes have become soft.
3.Finally add jaggery.After the jaggery is dissolved, switch off the heat.

You can serve it with kootu, dosa, idly, chapatti, adai or with any types of rice.
