Top Tips for Reducing Produce Waste

Every day I be checking produce,
Seeing which ones need to be used,
and I continue this every day,
a hey, a hey hey

Part of the raw food flow is getting to know how to pick, store and handle your fruit n veggie stash

This really comes with experience but I will share a few helpful tips below

For the bulk of your food purchased buy a lot (at least 5-10 meals) of a handful of different fruits n veggies rather than a few pieces of a lot of different types
Get 1/4 - 1/6 from each in their near ripe and ripe state if they need be ripened
Make sure to get at least 1-2 types of fruit that do not need to ripen and are ready at any time you do not have ripe fruit, for example dates,
Sort through all you buy putting the least ripe in the back progressively riper in the more accessible areas and the ripest on deck or in the fridge or freezer, toss any that may be overripe/rotten
Go through your stash everyday while singing the song I just taught you and get the ripest foods ready to eat or put them in the fridge or freezer

With time this all gets easier, I hope these tips help you find amazing bulk deals, brings ease around what to eat and reduces any food waste you may have
