TURKISH MEATBALL AND FRIES

FULL RECIPE FOR MEATBALL AND FRIESIngredients
For the meatballs:
1 kg medium fat ground beef
1 large onion
3-4 garlic cloves
7-8 sprigs of fresh parsley or 2 tbsp dry parsley
1 cup bread crumbs
cup milk
2 eggs
3 tbsp olive oil
tbsp ground black pepper
tbsp dried coriander
tbsp salt

For the potatoes:
1 kg potato
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp dried rosemary

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the meatball ingredients
Peel, wash and grate the onion
Peel and mince the garlic
Mince the parsley
Add 1 cup of bread crumbs, 2 eggs, tbsp of salt, tbsp of ground black pepper, tbsp of dried coriander, 3 tbsp of olive oil, and cup of milk
Combine the ingredients thoroughly
Then add the ground beef and knead for 6 to 8 minutes to achieve a homogenous mixture
Level the surface, cover with a lid and place the bowl into a refrigerator to rest for minimum of 1 hour or overnight

2 hours before to the dinner (by considering preparation and cooking time), take the mixture out from the refrigerator
Portion and shape the meatballs, as you like
Place the meatballs on an oven tray covered with parchment paper
Set aside

POTATO FRIES
Cover an oven tray with parchment paper
Peel, wash, and slice the potatoes and place on the tray
Pour 1/3 cup of olive oil followed by a sprinkle of salt and rosemary over the potatoes
Toss the potatoes with your hands then distribute the potatoes evenly on the tray to achieve even cooked sides

COOKING
Pre-heat the oven to 400 F
Place the meatball and potato trays in the oven
Cook for 45 to 50 minutes, until meatballs and potatoes are roasted completely
