Ingredients:-
For the Cookies:-
200 gms. Refined Flour
100 gms. Butter
50 gms. Caster Sugar
½ Vanilla Bean, scraped
1 Egg Yolk or 15 ml. Milk
1 tsp. Cocoa Powder
Red Food Colouring

For the Royal Icing:-
1½ cup Powdered Sugar
1 tbsp. Corn Flour
1 tbsp. Lime Juice
2 tbsp. Egg Whites
1 tbsp. Water, chilled
Red Food Colouring

Method:-
- In a bowl, mix refined flour with butter and caster sugar until breadcrumb-like consistency.
- Add vanilla bean extract, egg yolk and form a dough.
- Divide the dough into 3 portions and add cocoa powder and cold water to one and red food colouring to the second and keep the third one as is. Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Roll all the dough into a thin sheet and cut into shapes as shown in the video. Place on a baking tray.
- Bake at 200°C for 12 minutes.
- Let them cool down to room temperature.
- In a bowl, beat together powdered sugar, corn flour, lime juice and egg whites. Add chilled water after a while and beat for 8-10 minutes.
- Divide the beaten cream into 2 parts and add red food colouring to one of it and cover with a damp cloth.
- Transfer each icing to separate bowls and add 1 tablespoon of water to each.
- Fill the icings into piping bags and decorate cookies as shown in the video.
- Keep aside for 30 minutes and serve.

Valentine's Cookies are ready to eat!
