Variyali Sharbat (Saunf) by Toral || Toral's Pakhshala | India Food Network

Enjoy your Monsoons with Toral's Variyali Sharbat! Watch the video to learn how to make it.

Ingredients:
100 gm raw Variyali (Saunf/Fennel Seeds)
1 litre Chilled Water
3-4 tbsp. of Sugar syrup or Sugar powder

Method:
1. Roast the fennel seeds in a pan for 1-2 minutes.
2. Then grind them to powder.
3. Transfer 2-3 tsp. of this powder into a glass.
4. Add the sugar syrup/powder and lightly mix the contents.
5. Pour chilled water – stir briskly as you pour the water. Taste as you stir.
6. Let the drink settle and then refrigerate.
7. Serve after 10-15 minutes.
