Take dates in a bowl and add sufficient water. Soak for 30 minutes. 2. Add coconut flesh in a blender jar, soaked dates, cocoa powder, ¼ cup coconut water and blend well.3. Add remaining coconut water and blend till well combined and a smooth mixture is formed.4. To serve as a mousse, transfer the mixture into a bowl and add vanilla extract and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl, refrigerate and serve chilled. 5. To serve as an ice cream, transfer the mixture into a bowl, add walnuts and gently fold in. Cover the surface with cling wrap such a way that the top is touching the cling wrap. Freeze till set. 6.
