Vegan POTATO CAKES The Why Meat Co Review

Or are they called Potato Scallop? Or perhaps Potato Fritter???

Most vegans in Australia quite possibly grew up grabbing a potato cake at the Fish n Chip shop prior to their vegan days, but unfortunately the majority of potato cakes available either have a batter that is made with eggs or the potato cakes are cooked in Beef Dripping, which generally makes them not vegan friendly.

Thankfully, Australian company The Why Meat co has released their range of vegan friendly potato cakes into Coles Supermarkets for $6. They have two varieties available - Original and Salt & Vinegar. The items can be found in the freezer section with the hot chips.

Also, let the debate begin - is it POTATO CAKE, POTATO SCALLOP or POTATO FRITTER!? Let me know in the comments below
