Vegetable pulao is everyone's go to food. Now, made even easier by cooking it in the microwave, this dish doesn’t lose any flavour.VEGETABLE PULAO IN MICROWAVEIngredients½ small cauliflower, cut into small florets 5-6 French beans, cut into ½ inch pieces1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into small pieces1½ cups basmati rice, soaked for 30 minutes 2 tablespoons ghee 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)5-6 black peppercorns 3-4 green cardamoms 1 inch cinnamon 1 bay leaf Salt to taste2-3 tablespoons frozen green peasFresh coriander leaves for garnishingMethod1. Mix together ghee, cumin seeds, peppercorns, green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf in a large microwave proof bowl and cook in microwave on high (100%) for 1 minute. 2. Add cauliflower florets, French beans, carrot, drained rice, 3 cups water and salt and mix. Cover with a cling film, prick using a knife and cook in microwave on high (100%) for 12-14 minutes. 3. Discard the cling film, add green peas, mix, again cover with a cling film and cook in microwave on high (100%) for 1 minute.4.
