VEGETABLE RAVA / SUJI UPMA #रवा उपमा | VAPURDA KITCHEN

Hello Friends!!!

Upma is a recipe eaten in every home in our country, All have their way of making upma, Today i have made Upma the way i like in sesame oil as it enhances the taste of upma and i love to eat it with vegetables in it.

Ingredient :-

* few curry leaves
* 1/2 cup rava (suji / semolina)
* 1 tbl spn urad dal
* 1 tbl spn mustard seed (rai)
* 2-3 green chile chopped
* 2 medium size chopped onion
* 1/3 cup chopped carrot
* 1/3 cup chopped french beans
* 1 tbl spn salt (as per ur tatse)
* 2 tbl spn chopped green coriander
* 1&1/2 cup hot water

Method :-

* Dry roast rava in a pan without oil.
* In a deep pan or kadhai add 2 tbl spn oil of ur choice.
* Add curry leaves,urad dal,mustard seeds & green chile and sauyte for a min.
* Now add chopped onion and saute till light pink.
* Now add the vegetables and saute for 2-3 min then add salt saute for 30 sec.
* Now add the roasted rava saute for a min and add 1 cup of hot water mix and close the lid for 30-40 sec.
* Add another 1/2 cup of water and mix and close the lid again for 1 min.
* After 1 min give a mix and add chopped green coriander.
* Serve hot.
