Walnut Daifuku with Sweet Sesame and Bean Paste Filling Recipe | Cooking with Dog

We are making scrumptious Daifuku with walnuts, roasted soybean flour, black sesame paste and unrefined brown sugar. This Walnut Daifuku is exactly what I expected and I'm very satisfied with the result.

How to make Walnut Daifuku

(4 pieces) Cook Time: 30 minutes

50g Shiratamako, sticky/sweet rice flour (1.8 oz)
80ml Water (2.7 fl oz)
1 tbsp Kurozato or substitute: muscovado or unrefined brown sugar
25g Roasted Walnuts, unsalted (0.9 oz)

4 tbsp Anko, sweet red bean paste
1 tsp Black Sesame Paste
Kinako, roasted soybean flour

* 1 tablespoon (tbsp) = 15 ml, 1 teaspoon (tsp) = 5 ml
