Why You Should Never Eat Eel | Secrets of Sushi

October is Sustainable Seafood Month! As a Partner of the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch Program, it's my job to help educate people on making better choices when it comes to eating sushi.

Each week I will publish a new video with sustainable facts about sea life used in sushi. This week: Why You Should Never Eat Eel.

While Unagi (freshwater eel), is a widely popular item on many sushi menus, it's also one of the most threatened species on the menu.

What can we do? For starters, stop eating eel.
