Accordion Steak

INGREDIENTS
300g beef
Japanese BBQ sauce (aka Yakiniku no tare), as needed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 close garlic (chopped)
Chopped scallions, as needed

2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons mirin

PREPARATION
1. Cut the beef into 2cm slices.
2. Put the beef (1) between chopsticks and cut the slits (5mm between each slit). Flip the beef, rotate 45 degree angle, and cut the slits. Put the beef with the BBQ sauce in a container.
3. Place the beef (2) on the grill. Cook until both sides are golden.
4. Cook the garlic with the vegetable oil in a pan on low heat.
5. When the garlic is fragrant, add chopped scallions, soy sauce, and mirin. Simmer a bit.
6. Serve the beef with (5).
7. Enjoy!
