Chicken mince balls cooked in spicy yogurt gravy.CHICKEN BALLS IN SPICY GRAVYIngredients 400 grams chicken mince 5 dried red chillies 4 black peppercorns1 teaspoon fennel seeds 2 cloves ½ inch cinnamon 1 tablespoon coriander seeds 2 tablespoons Thai chilli paste 1 tablespoons finely chopped fresh coriander leavesSalt to taste 1 egg1 tablespoon oil 1 bay leaf1 black cardamom 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon minced ginger1 cup onion paste½ teaspoon nutmeg powder ½ teaspoon garam masala powder 2 cups yogurt Method 1. Grind together black peppercorns, fennel seeds, cloves, cinnamon, coriander seeds and cumin seeds to a fine powder. 2. Grind together chicken mince, Thai paste, coriander leaves, salt and egg to a smooth paste. 3. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add bay leaf, cardamom, garlic and ginger and sauté till fragrant. 4. Add onion paste and sauté for a minute. 5. Add ground powder alongwith nutmeg powder and garam masala powder and sauté again. 6. Add salt and some of the yogurt and mix well. 7. Add ½ cup water and mix well. 8. Mix remaining yogurt and ground paste in a bowl. 9. Dampen your palms with water, take a portion of the mince mixture and shape them into balls and add to the pan. Cook for 8-10 minutes. 10. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
