Teriyaki Chicken with Cheese
Servings: 2

INGREDIENTS
1 chicken thigh
1/2 onion (150g)
2 egg yolks
60g shredded cheese
Flour, as needed
Vegetable oil, as needed

Teriyaki Marinade
50ml sake
80ml mirin
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup

PREPARATION
1. Cut the chicken into strips (1.5cm). Slice the onion.
2. Mix all of the ingredients for marinade in a bowl. Marinate the chicken (1) for 10 minutes.
3. Pat dry the chicken (2) and dust with flour. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Place the chicken (chicken skin down) on the pan and cook on medium. Flip the chicken and cook for 2 minutes with a lid on.
4. Keep 100ml of the marinade (2).
5. Add onions into the pan (3) and cook until soften. Add (4) into the pan. Simmer on high until the marinade is gone.
6. Place (5) on a casserole dish. Add the egg yolks and shredded cheese on top. Bake in the toaster oven for 3 minutes until cheese is melted.
7. Enjoy!
