With his age catching on, 74-year-old founder Mr Tay has passed the baton to his son. The veteran used to sell fried kway teow near the former Thong Chai Medical Insitution where a lot of tasty street food conglomerated. In 1989, he settled down offering chicken rice and curry noodle at Golden Mile Food Centre.The stall's curry noodle is one of the best locally and is very popular amongst customers. What attracts them is the fragrant, rich and smooth curry gravy, tender chicken, Tau Pok and dried pig skin soaked up full with curry flavour.
