Delicious Red and White Pork Rolls with Tasty Sauce
For 2 servings

INGREDIENTS
100g daikon radish
100g carrot
200g thinly sliced pork belly
2 teaspoons katakuriko (potato starch)
1 tablespoon salad oil

2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
Shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven spice), to taste

PREPARATION
1. Peel the daikon radish and carrot, and cut them into thin strips about 10 cm long. Place them in a heat-resistant container, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Let it cool, then remove excess moisture with kitchen paper.
2. Lay two slightly overlapping slices of pork belly on a cutting board. Arrange 1/4 of the daikon and carrot mixture evenly on top. Roll up the pork belly diagonally, rolling a little at a time. Repeat to make a total of 4 rolls.
3. Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the pork rolls coated with katakuriko and cook, turning to brown all sides while ensuring the pork is cooked through.
4. Wipe off excess oil from the pan with kitchen paper. Add [A] to the pan, bring it to a boil, and coat the rolls in the sauce.
5. Take out the rolls, cut each into three pieces, plate them, and it's ready to serve!
