Easy Chahan Recipe (Japanese-style Pork and Egg Fried Rice) | Cooking with Dog

Enjoy the Japanese fried rice dish Chahan with Char Siu (Chinese barbecued pork), egg and lots of spring onion leaves. The aroma of the sauteed onion leaves, garlic and soy sauce makes the Chahan more delicious.

How to Make Chahan

1 Egg
40g Char Siu - Chinese-flavored Barbecued Pork or substitute: Ham (1.4 oz)
2 tbsp Long Green Onion, Chopped
1 Garlic Clove, Chopped
2 tsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Sake
¼ tsp Soy Sauce
¼ tsp Salt
Pepper
150g Steamed Rice (5.3 oz)
20g Spring Onions, Chopped (0.7 oz)
Beni Shoga - pickled ginger
