French Egg Toast | Tiffin Treats by Roopa Nabar | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Slices of bread dunked in a sweetened egg mixture and pan fried. Popularly known as eggy bread! Watch this video to find out how to make this recipe.

FRENCH EGG TOAST

Ingredients

8 brown bread slices
3 eggs
¾ cup milk
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 tablespoons oil
Orange juice for serving

Method

1. Break eggs in a bowl and whisk. Add milk and whisk well.
2. Add powdered sugar and whisk. Add vanilla essence and whisk well.
3. To prepare one French toast, heat ½ tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan and spread evenly.
4. Dip one bread slice in egg mixture, place on hot pan and cook on medium heat from both sides till golden brown, pouring some egg mixture if required.
5. Serve hot with orange juice.
