Fried Corn with Sweet Soy Sauce
Servings: 2

INGREDIENTS
1 corn
3 tablespoons potato starch
Vegetable oil, as needed
A
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sake
1 tablespoon mirin
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon grated garlic
Black pepper, as needed

PREPARATION
1. Cut the corn into halves. Cut each piece vertically into 4 equal parts.
2. Make some cuts on each corn piece (so it wont explode when frying).
3. Put the corn pieces (2) and potato starch in a plastic bag. Shake well.
4. Deep fry (3) in the oil (170C/ 338F) until golden.
5. Heat all of the ingredients A in a pan. Add (4), stir and simmer.
6. Sprinkle some black pepper on top.
7. Enjoy!
