Hazelnut Chocolate Stuffed Pancakes | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Nutella-Stuffed Pancakes sliced in half . Everybody's favorite hazelnut-chocolate spread has long been making desserts extra special.

HAZELNUT-CHOCOLATE STUFFED PANCAKES

Ingredients

Hazelnut-chocolate spread as required
1 cup refined flour
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
1½ teaspoons vanilla essence
¾ cup milk
Butter as required

Method

1. Place a sheet of butter paper on the worktop. Place individual small portions of the hazelnut-chocolate spread at the corners and flatten a little with a palate knife, ensuring that the shape stays round. Freeze till set.
2. Sieve together refined flour, powdered sugar and baking powder into a bowl. Add eggs, vanilla essence and milk and whisk well into a smooth batter.
3. Heat some butter in a non-stick pan. Pour ladlefuls of batter and spread into two individual pancakes. Cook the underside.
4. Remove the hazelnut-chocolate spread rounds from the butter paper and place it on one pancake. Cover with another pancake and cook for a minute. Similarly prepare other pancakes.
5. Cut into halves and serve immediately.
