How to make your kids family, favorite CHINESE BROCCOLI

Broccoli is high in vitamin C and dietary fiber. It also contains multiple nutrients with potent anti-cancer properties. Broccoli is in the cabbage family.

This recipe is something we make on a regular basis. Here's what we use:
12oz. broccoli florets
1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
squeeze of lemon
sesame seeds or chinese szechuan seasoning 1/4 teaspoon
water (optional)

start by bringing a pot of water to a boil. I usually add salt, but because the oyster sauce is salty, I sometimes leave it out. Just be mindful of that.

Add broccoli florets to boiling water and cook for 60-90 seconds. Drain and rinse under cold water and add to an ice water bath. This will shock the broccoli which stops the cooking process and keeps the broccoli a beautiful green color.

Place the broccoli florets on a kitchen towel and gently pat all sides to get the broccoli as dry as you can.

Heat oil in wok. Add broccoli. Browning the broccoli is encouraged. Add crushed garlic and oyster sauce. Make sure to stir the oyster sauce to evenly distribute. I like to add a splash of water at the end to create a loose sauce.

Add a squeeze of lemon and sesame seeds and eat immediately!
