Indian Style Burrito In Gujarati | Snacky Ideas by Amisha Doshi | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

INDIAN STYLE BURRITO

Ingredients

4 tortillas
1½ cups cooked Basmati rice
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon oil
1 green chilli, chopped
5-6 French beans, chopped
3 tablespoons green peas, boiled
½ medium green capsicum, chopped
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
A pinch of sugar
3 tablespoons green chutney
Tomato ketchup for spreading
Grated processed cheese for topping

Method

1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add green chilli and sauté. Add French beans and sauté for 1 minute.
2. Add green peas and sauté for 1 minute. Add capsicum and sauté for 1 minute. Add rice, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala, salt and sugar, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add green chutney, mix and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and slightly cool.
4. Spread some tomato ketchup in each tortilla. Put some rice mixture in the center of each tortilla, top with some cheese and roll.
5. Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Place the prepared rolls and cook from all sides till golden brown and cheese melts.
6. Serve hot.
