Land of Lakes white american cheese1 large yellow onion, finely chopped4 cloves garlic, minced4 oz. can chopped green chiles2 -3 teaspoones olive oil1 tsp. butterDirections:Caramelize onion in the oil and butter for 40 - 60 minutes.During the last 5 minutes add the garlic.Preheat oven to 350 degree F.Drain chilesLayer cheese, onion mixture, and chiles in an oven proof dish.
