Michelin-listed Curry Chicken Bee Hoon using a 1967 recipe Ah Heng Curry Chicken Bee Hoon Mee

If you are looking for curry chicken noodle, Ah Heng Curry Chicken Noodle is a good option. Founded in 1967 at the current Singapore Shopping Centre, the stall shifted to Upper Cross Street before settling at Hong Lim Food Centre. Influenced by the Nyonya-style of cooking, the curry chicken noodle has earned itself a Michelin recommendation.

Each bowl comes with a choice of bee hoon or yellow mee, topped with Hainanese-style poached chicken, potatoes, Tau Pok, fish cake slices, bean sprouts, and doused with rich, thick curry broth. To ensure freshness, it takes very long hours, and as early as 3am in the morning, to prepare a deceptively simple-looking bowl.

The result of the stall's hardwork is a comforting bowl with the aromatic curry and tender chicken, with tingling spicy homemade chilli.
