In the last episode, we talked about how to make tangyuan, sweet rice dumpings with sweet fillings. Today, we are making a variation of the rice dumping, and will turn it into a sweet dessert soup, that is, jiu niang yuan zi, mini rice balls with sweet rice wine. It’s aromatic, warming, sweet and very delicious.

上一次讲到元宵节做汤圆。今天我们来做另外一种糯米小圆子,酒酿圆子。小圆子软糯入口即化,藕粉浓稠香甜,枸杞湿润微甜,蛋花顺滑带一点蛋的香气,苹果带来满满水果香,而酒酿又增加了一些发酵过的酒香,让人在冬天吃到了温暖和慰藉。


200克糯米粉
160克水
1碗酒酿
2颗鸡蛋
2只苹果
5克干桂花
10克枸杞
90克藕粉


200g glutinous rice flour
160g water
1 cup sweet rice wine
2 eggs
2 apples
5g dried Osmanthus Flowers
10g Goji Berries
90g Lotus Root Starch
