15 Minutes Chilli Crab Tofu Recipe -

Bring out your inner Masterchef and take on the heat with a twist to Singapore's favourite - Chilli Crab, but with Tofu. With its vibrant, deep-orange appearance auspiciously in line with colours of the upcoming Chinese New Year, this recipe is perfect for the occasion without breaking the bank.

Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, you'll find this easy Chilli Crab Tofu recipe hard to resist with the iconic Chilli Crab sauce made from scratch.

We're using Chinese Tofu with Omega 3 DHA from Fortune, but feel free to use your usual tofu.

Ditch the egg and crab meat for a vegan experience.

Ingredients
Spice Mix / Rempah:
4 Shallots
6 cloves Garlic
5 Red chillies
8 Dried chillies (rehydrated)
1 stalk Lemongrass (white part)
3 Chili padis
4 Candle nuts
4 slices Galangal
1 Lime (juiced)
2 tbsp Toasted belacan

7 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Taucheo (fermented bean paste)
3-4 tbsp Oil
1 cup water
2 eggs
Cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch to 3 tbsp water)
2 packs Fortune Chinese Tofu with Omega 3 DHA
150g Crab Meat
