Playing Card Pies
Servings: 2

INGREDIENTS
2 frozen puff pastry sheets
1 egg yolk
Strawberry jam, as needed
Blueberry jam, as needed

PREPARATION
1. Cut the frozen puff pastry sheet into 6 equal parts.
2. Cut out half of (1) with a cookie cutter. Layer them on the un-cut pieces (1). With a fork, press down edges. Put strawberry jam or blueberry jam into each cut-out. Brush the egg yolk wash on the surface.
3. Place (2) on a baking tray lined with a *parchment paper. Bake in the oven (preheated to 180C/ 356F) for 20 minutes.
4. Enjoy!

*The parchment papers need to be a heat proofed product (180C/ 356F for 20 minutes).
