Prok Tatsuta-Age (Fried Pork)

INGREDIENTS
200g pork belly
5 tablespoons Asazuke base (Japanese pickle brine)
Potato starch, as needed
Frying oil, as needed

PREPARATION
1. Cut the pork belly into bite-size pieces. With a fork, poke the meat.
2. Marinate the meat (1) in Asazuke base for 15 minutes.
3. Dust the meat (2) with potato starch.
4. Heat the oil in a pan (to cover 3 cm depth) to 170C (338F). Deep fry (3) until crispy.
5. Enjoy!
