Quick Dosa | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A quick and easy recipe of dosa made with kolam rice, sago and puffed rice.

QUICK DOSA

Ingredients

2 cup kolam rice, soaked
1 cup sago, soaked
1 cup puffed rice
Salt to taste
A pinch sugar
¼ teaspoon fruit salt
Oil as required

Method

1. Grind together the rice and sago into a smooth batter using water as required. Add puffed rice and grind it again. Transfer into a bowl.
2. Add salt, sugar, fruit salt and mix well. Adjust the consistency of the batter with water as required. Set aside covered for an hour.
3. Heat a non-stick pan. Spread a ladleful of the batter into a dosa, drizzle oil on the edges and cook, flipping, till fully done.
4. Serve hot with green chutney.

Preparation Time: 60-65 minutes
Cooking Time: 7-8 minutes
