Rose bouquet apple pie
Servings: 8

INGREDIENTS
Filling
2 Apples
30 grams Sugar
30 grams Unsalted butter
1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Maple custard cream
200 milliliters Milk
2 Egg yolks
3 tablespoons Maple syrup
2 tablespoons Flour
A few drops of vanilla essence

1 Frozen pie sheet 20 x 20 cm (thawned)

Powdered sugar to top

PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 180C.

2. Cut apples in half without peeling, cut out the core and slice thinly.

3. Add (2), sugar, butter and lemon juice to a bowl, cover it loosely with plastic wrap and heat it in the microwave at 600W for 3-4 minutes. Mix gently and cool in the refrigerator.

4. Make custard cream. Add milk, egg yolks, maple syrup, flour, and vanilla essence to a bowl, use a whisk to mix well, cover loosely with plastic wrap and heat in a 500W microwave for 4 minutes, stopping every minute to whisk well. Wrap tightly on the surface with plastic wrap and cool in the refrigerator.

5. Sprinkle flour on your working surface, stretch the pie sheet with a rolling pin and put it in the pie mold.

6. Pour the custard cream in the mold and level it.

7. Roll up the sliced apples one by one, wrap them in a rose shape and spread them in (6).

8. Bake in the oven at 180 for 30 minutes. (The apples might start to burn, if this happens cover with aluminium foil.)

9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar to finishing

10. Enjoy!
